[Ended] Win 1 of 5 Adhesive Bras by KISSBOBO

by Estelle Puleston

Disclosure: This blog post is sponsored by KISSBOBO.

My first and only experience with adhesive bras was accompanying a friend to buy one in our teens, who had a particularly plunge-necked outfit planned for an upcoming date. Plenty of giggles ensued back home as she tried to work out how to stick it on properly and then jumped about to make sure it wasn’t going anywhere. It sure looked funny but as far as I remember, it did stay put and she got to wear her outfit.

Adhesive bras aren’t something you’d wear just for the fun of it, or to make a fashion statement. They’re designed to meet a very particular need – for when you’re wearing a plunging neckline, an open back, something with low-cut sides or something strapless (or two or three or all of the above!), and you don’t want your bra on show but you don’t fancy going braless either. Double-sided lingerie tape is an option, but an adhesive bra offers more shaping and support, plus nipple coverage. The right one can pull your breasts together in a way only a bra can, for those times you want dramatic cleaveage, or give you a size boost through built-in padding.

KISSBOBO is a California-based company specialising in adhesive bras. They offer a variety of styles, because they all work slightly differently. The peach KISSBOBO Invisible bra comprises two separate pieces, which hook together at the centre to pull your breasts inwards and together. With no band of any kind, you can even wear it with something that has a low neckline and low sides.

The demi push-up with drawstring, available with a beige or black fabric outer, is also made from separate cups which in this case join with thin rope lacing so you can adjust just how ‘cleavage-y’ you want to get. Plus it looks kind of cool! This one is also available in smooth silicone.

If you want a little more reassurance that your adhesive bra isn’t going to fall off at an awkward moment, there’s also the KISSBOBO push-up bra with removable straps. There’s still no band, meaning it’ll stay hidden away no matter how low the back of your outfit goes, but it does have clear, detachable straps that wrap around the shoulder. Or, you might like the Nubra version which has an adhesive wing, offering a little horizontal support.

KISSBOBO’s adhesive bras are priced from £19.99 to £28.99, although they’re having a huge up-to-70%-off sale right now. They’re multi-use, meaning if you take care of your bra (wash it in soapy water after each use, let it air dry and store it where it won’t attract dust), you can wear it over and over – every time an outfit calls for a barely-there bra solution!

Win 1 of 5 KISSBOBO adhesive bras

The people at KISSBOBO are offering five of my readers a free bra – each winner will be able to choose from the Invisible bra, the fabric drawstring push-up, the silicone drawstring push-up or the push-up with removable straps. Or, if you’re more interested in padding your existing bras, you can choose a pair of 100% silicone bra inserts. Follow the links for available sizes.

I’d use one for all my tips & dresses with patterned backs! I love straps made into patterns like stars on the back of a dress, but a bra strap ruins the effect somewhat. A good stick on bra like this would be perfect to keep my ladies where I want them!
Love that you have some more practical bits as well as pretties, hopefully these bras are more reliable than sticky ones I’ve tried previously!

We have a lot of mess functions with formal dresses and I tend to go for corset style, low backed so this would be ideal for any number of the dresses I have upstairs

Ali Thorpe March 15, 2017 - 7:17 pm

These would be perfect for a loose, backless top or dress to give a little lift and shape while leaving the back completely bare.

The black fabric bra with the drawstrings is so cute! I would love wearing it with dresses and tops with strappy backs.

Open back dresses are absolutely one of my favourite styles, but as you know they are not exactly conducive to being worn with a traditional bra. I’m also a fan of plunging necklines and spaghetti straps which also make finding the right bra challenging. As a lingerie addict, I love to show off my more decorative bras sometimes, but others I want my undergarments to be as invisible as possible. The push-up demi bra with drawstring looks perfect for my needs! It offers the lift, support, coverage and cleavage I love, all while giving the illusion that there’s nothing underneath. I’ve actually been thinking about adding a bra like this to my longerie wardrobe, so to win one would be amazing! Love your blog, Estelle!
